Phenology - Nature’s Climate Calendar

Jon Zeitler will present “Phenology - Nature’s Climate Calendar,” to members and guests of the Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society (HLBWS). Phenology is defined as the study of cyclic and seasonal natural phenomena, especially in relation to climate and plant and animal life. Understanding these cycles is central to farming, ranching and many routine aspects of day-to-day life. The meeting will be held in person at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service building, 607 N. Vandeveer in Burnet and the general public is welcome to attend.
