This beekeeping class will focus on Varroa mites, the damage that the mites can do to bees, and ways to protect hives from the mites. The class will meet in the Oakalla Public Library. Note that the Beekeeping 101 series has changed to meeting on Fridays (past classes were held on Saturdays).
