“Bird ID Class - Raptors,” Wild Birds Unlimited (Ventura, CA)

This FREE online event will review key characteristics that birders use to help identify some of the most common raptors in North America, including some of the trickiest ones to distinguish. Birds included are owls, vultures, hawks and eagles. The variety of “morphs” of some birds, such as the red-tailed hawk, can make identification all the more challenging. Time is allowed to respond to viewers’ questions. Here is the link to the Facebook event; the presentation will be delivered via Zoom (no Facebook account needed to view the presentation).
