For $5 per adult (kids are admitted for FREE), enjoy a family-friendly beginner nature walk at the Mitchell Lake Audubon Center. Bring whatever gear you need for the children (strollers, baby carriers, etc.) along with water, bug spray, closed toed shoes, and sunscreen for a safe walk. The hike is about 1.25 miles long, on mostly even terrain. The event will start with a hands-on activity: decorating “binoculars” for the children to use on their nature walk!
