The Austin/San Antonio Weather Forecast Office offers SKYWARN® training sessions to help people prepare for hazardous weather threats specific to South Central Texas. Participants will learn how to assist local forecasters with weather reports during critical weather events. Public reports often provide the most valuable data for warning decisions. The training is FREE and open to the public; no advanced registration is required.
