Why not start the new year off right, with some time spent in the fresh air at Pedernales Falls State Park? The park is offering two FREE guided hikes on New Year’s Day! The first starts at 8:30 a.m. and is a 1.5-mile hike on the Hackenburg Loop Trail. The second is a 2-mile river walk that starts at 11:00 a.m. Day pass reservations are required to gain access to the park; be sure to do this ahead of time so that you can select the appropriate arrival time for your chosen hike(s).
