Every Sunday in September starting at 8:00 a.m. there is a guided bird tour of the Center. Guests can expect to see 30-50 different bird species with the assistance of an expert guide. Participants travel by car and by foot to access as many areas of the park as possible. The tour is best suited for birders aged 15 or older as it can last up to four hours, though participants can leave at any time. Participants should bring their own binoculars, bottles for water, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bug spray. Registration is required, here, and there is a $10 fee per person. Tours are limited to 10 participants, so it is best to purchase tickets well in advance!
