“Guidelines for Learning to Identify Common Native Grasses of Central Texas,” WillCo Ch., NPSOT (In Person or Online)

This presentation is being offered both online and in person. Ricky Linex, the current president of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT), will talk about the plant-identifying characteristics for 25 native perennial grasses found in and around Central Texas. Clear photos will showcase the features to look for in making positive identification. In addition to reviewing the photos together, there will be a handout on the plant characteristics to help guide you with their identification. People are welcome to arrive beginning at 6:30 p.m. to browse seed boards, socialize, etc.
