This field trip is a perennial favorite of HLBWS members and their guests. The golf course offers several types of habitat, and the water features attract a wide variety of resident and wintering birds. Members typically meet up in the golf course’s parking lot by 7:30 a.m., and climb aboard the golf carts to quickly and easily travel around the course and see as many birds as possible.

There is a small fee to participate in this field trip (around $5/person), 100% of which is used to cover the cost of renting the golf carts for the morning.
