HLBWS Monthly Meeting: “Wildflowers, Trees, and Grasses (and a Few Birds) in Texas Archeology”

Dr. Leslie Bush, a paleoethnobotanist, will present “Wildflowers, Trees, and Grasses (and a Few Birds) in Texas Archeology” to the Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society (HLBWS). Dr. Bush will explain the deep relationships forged by the indigenous people of Texas to the native wildflowers and plants in this area.

Plans for the morning include an 8:00 a.m. bird walk at Haley Nelson Park and some social time at 9:30 a.m. at the AgriLife building. The business portion of our meeting will commence at 10:00 a.m. and Dr. Bush will begin to present at approximately 10:30 a.m.
