“How High-Energy Hummingbirds Survive: A Q & A with the Experts,” Cornell Lab of Ornithology

Researchers Anusha Shankar, Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Erich Eberts, University of Toronto Scarborough, will share what they have learned about how hummingbirds use energy in this Zoom meeting. Participants will learn about the demands of migration, the nesting season, and even how hummingbirds make it through the night; the researchers also will explain how sleep differs from torpor. Registration is required for this FREE event, here. Please note that the event will be recorded, and all registrants will have access to the recording afterwards.
