Members and guests will be treated to a presentation by Carol Clark on “Planting for Birds.” She will discuss general principles that landowners can use in selecting native species for landscaping, including the concept of providing “high value” for wildlife. Ms. Clark is a Texas Master Naturalist, longtime member of the Native Plant Society of Texas, and a Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist. Please note: the business portion of the HLBWS meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. and the presentation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
