“Native Plant Garden Design and Landscaping,” Highland Lakes Ch., NPSOT

After a half-hour business meeting, Burnet County Agriculture Extension Agent Kelly Tarla will talk about incorporating native plants into yards and landscapes. She will explain how to choose the right native plants for: 1) sunny or shaded areas, 2) pollinators and birds, and 3) getting to enjoy blooms all year long. She also will talk about when during the year to install plants for the best results. The meeting will be offered both in person and via Zoom.
