Oct. 15-21, 2023, is Native Plant Week! Our colleagues at the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) have collaborated with H-E-B stores in select locations to promote the sales of four native plant species: Rock Rose, Mealy Blue Sage, Turk’s Cap, and Gregg’s Mistflower. These plants, all in one-gallon pots, are adapted to Texas’ climate, attract pollinators and are easy to grow. The H-E-B store in on FM 1431 in Marble Falls is one of the participating locations. If you’ve been thinking about incorporating some native plants into your landscape to help support wildlife, this is a great opportunity!
