Each Thursday evening through September 22, 2022, Kristine Rivers will host a virtual field trip to a current birding hotspot. The August 4 class destination is the Bolivar Peninsula. Participants have to identify the species that are observed by analyzing the birds’ appearance, habitat, behavior(s), the season, and geographic range. All experience levels are welcome, but the classes are designed for intermediate birders who should have their favorite field guides or bird ID apps handy. The cost is $10/class.
