Every summer, as thousands of Purple Martins begin gathering together for migration, Travis Audubon hosts FREE watch parties in areas where the birds are known to roost. Anyone who is interested can witness the spectacular display of aerial maneuvers made en masse by these beautiful birds. Plans are for observers to gather at La Frontera, near the Applebee’s, from 8-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights over three successive weekends. Binoculars, chairs, cameras, hats, and water are all recommended!
