Dr. Robert Mace, with The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, will present findings from a recent study about the effectiveness of rainwater harvesting systems. The researchers found that firm rainwater supplies could be attained all across Texas, including in El Paso. One interesting result was that the defining drought—the drought of record—was a function not only of the rainfall but also of the catchment area, storage size, and daily use. Find out more about the implications of this research for rainwater harvesting. Registration is required to access this online event.
