This event will focus on population declines among North American birds and, more importantly, what can be done to help birds. The possibilities include the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s “Seven Simple Actions” and other organizations and projects striving to restore lost habitat. The session also will cover how you can turn your yard into a Certified Wildlife Habitat and how the use of native plants in landscaping is integral to efforts to help birds.
