“Selection and Care of Texas Native Trees,” HLNPSOT

The Highland Lakes Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas will host featured speaker James Green, who will discuss Texas native trees. Specific topics include how to select, plant and care for native trees, how to establish “free” trees, and the strong differences in perspective on Ashe Juniper and Mesquite trees. James Green is a native of Burnet County. He has worked with Hill Country trees throughout his career, and is a certified arborist. The meeting is FREE to attend and is open to anyone interested in learning more about native trees.
