Bob Friedrichs is the instructor for this two-part course, April 4 and April 6 from 7-9 p.m. each of those two evenings. The FEE is $200/person. Mr. Friedrichs will provide an in-depth look at the shorebirds along Texas’ coastal counties. Participants will learn about the 37 shorebird species seen annually in the Greater Houston area, including identification, habitat, field marks, and vocalizations. The two classroom sessions, via Zoom, will be followed by a full-day field trip on Saturday, April 9th, to the coastal marshes, rice fields and turf farms to practice what was learned in the course. For full details and the link to registration, please visit this site.
