“The Gulf Coast Bird Observatory – Who, Why, Where, and How!,” Travis Audubon Society (ONLINE ONLY)

Martin Hagne, the executive director of the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory (GCBO) in Lake Jackson, TX, will give a talk about the observatory and its efforts related to bird conservation. The observatory is a research and educational organization located on 34 acres of Columbia Bottomland Forest. GCBO administers critical conservation programs both locally and across the Americas to protect birds. Martin will share insights into how birds are truly doing today, and steps that we can all take to make a difference in birds’ prospects for the future.

Advanced registration is not required for this meeting, but the link is only being published in Travis Audubon’s weekly newsletter. Rather than post those specifics here, please contact the HLBWS webmaster here to obtain information about how to join this online event.
