The Time to Restore project is led by the USA National Phenology Project and covers Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. The project’s goal is to generate better information about nectar availability and seed timing, which will inform those working on pollinator restoration about what to plant and when to harvest seeds.
In this free, 2-hour virtual workshop, participants will learn more about the Time to Restore project, weigh in on the best plant species to target for ongoing monitoring and assessment in Texas, help generate ideas for recruitment and engagement of volunteer data collectors, and give their input on how the data collected by this project can be best presented back to those working on pollinator restoration.
This workshop is intended for anyone in Texas who works on, or is interested in, native plants and their respective pollinators, pollinator restoration and conservation in general. People can sign up for either the Wednesday workshop or the Saturday workshop. Register using the form provided here.
