Most interpretive opportunities are simple, casual contacts with people on the trails or at hot spots in the wild. Ben Horstmann, TPWD, will talk about some tools, tips, and tricks to help make those casual contacts meaningful. After all, you never know when one quick exchange will spark another person’s lasting interest in nature! Mr. Horstmann also will talk briefly about how to help Texas State Parks celebrate 100 years of operation.
