If you’re looking for some no-stress family fun, why not register to participate in TPWD’s 2022 Texas Pollinator BioBlitz? It’s as simple as taking some nature walks during the blitz - from October 7 through October 23 - and documenting the pollinators that you encounter with iNaturalist. Part of the fun is getting to upload your photos of pollinators to Instagram, iNaturalist and the Facebook Events page about the BioBlitz (be sure to use the hashtag, “#TXpollinators” when you post). It’s an easy way to contribute to a citizen scientist project and raise awareness of the importance of pollinators!
