“Ecosystem Regeneration Starts with You,” Fredericksburg Ch., NPSOT

  • St. Joseph’s Halle 212 West San Antonio Street Fredericksburg, TX, 78624 United States (map)

Guest speaker Shannon Brown is the founder of Ecosystem Regeneration Artisans. She will examine how people can create gardens that use native plants, which in turn provide habitat for wildlife and may incorporate food crops for human consumption. Ms. Brown often includes mechanisms to harvest rainwater in landscape designs, thereby returning moisture to the soil and reducing runoff, with all of its associated problems.

Social time begins at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation begins at about 7:00 p.m. For those who cannot attend in person, the presentation may be watched on YouTube at Fredericksburg Texas Native Gardening. For full details, see the program description, here.
