For thousands of years, Texas plants have been used for sustenance, medicine, and the establishment of the area. As the region and its populations changed, so did the ethnobotany (relationship between people and plants). This seasonally changing tour, led by Program Specialist Maeve Bassett, will explore the Texas Native Trails and examine the diverse relationships people have had, and still have, with plants in Texas. Sponsored by San Antonio Water System. Face coverings required. Space is limited. Fee: $15/person. Registration deadline is 10:00 a.m. on the day before the tour. Note: This event is approved for 1.5 hours of Master Naturalist/Master Gardener AT.
